FAQ
Where do the dogs in our program live? All of our dogs live in homes with families. Some live in our home, with us and others live with wonderful and loving guardian families that we trust completely. When they live in a guardian home they come and stay with us to deliver and raise their puppies.
What health testing and health guarantees do we provide? All of our parent dogs are genetically tested to insure that they do not pass on any dominant genetic diseases to their puppies that we need to be concerned with. Our parents are also physically examined to make sure they are structurally sound and don't have any detectable heart, joint or eye conditions. We want them to pass only the best traits on to their off-spring. All of our puppies come with a 2 year genetic health guarantee.
Do we provide updates while puppies are with us? Communication is so important to us. We recognize that your new puppy is going to be a member of your family. We will communicate and update you on a near daily basis. Pictures, videos and live videos are all important to us. We want you to see how your puppy has been raised, cared for and handled while in our home. We post social media updates nearly everyday.
Where are we located? We are located in Cedar City, Utah. We are about 2 1/2 hours from Las Vegas and within a days drive of SIX national parks and countless other beautiful attractions. Cedar City is also Festival City, USA and is an amazing vacation destination. It's a wonderful place to come visit and pick up your puppy.
Do we deliver puppies? We don't typically deliver, unless we can accommodate the travel into our busy schedule. Our puppies have found homes around the country, though. We can recommend a flight nanny who will travel in the cabin with your puppy. We will also meet you at the Las Vegas Airport. A ground transport company is also an option for getting your puppy to you and we can help with recommendations.
How often do we breed our dogs? First and foremost all of the dogs in our program are pets. They are pets before they have their first litter and when they retire from breeding they will be spayed and live out their days with their human families. Each girl in our program typically has 4-5 litters of puppies, however this number may vary depending on the best interest of the individual mother.
When can you pick your puppy? You can pick your puppy when it is born, in the order that deposits were placed. Because we carefully breed for temperament, we have found that our puppies tend to all be very even tempered and will do very well in nearly any home environment. However, we do temperament evaluate them between 6-7 weeks old. We will give you their evaluation results as well as some tips for how to best train and motivate your puppy based on their evaluation results.
